Luxora

Luxora is a puzzle game built around matching glowing tiles into longer and longer chains. You drag a finger across connected pieces of the same colour, and the longer the path you draw, the brighter the payoff on screen. It sounds simple, and the first levels are, but the game slowly layers in obstacles like locked tiles and colour shifts that force you to plan a couple of moves ahead.

What surprised me is how gentle it feels. There is no timer breathing down your neck in the main mode, so you can sit with a board and think. The whole thing runs offline, which made it my go-to game during a long ferry ride with no signal. The visuals lean into soft gradients and a warm glow, and the sound design is quiet and pleasant rather than the usual cascade of coins.

My only small complaint is that the difficulty curve flattens out in the middle before spiking again near the later chapters. But for a relaxed puzzle you can pick up and drop, Luxora nails the tone. It respects your attention and never begs you to come back.
