Emberfall Saga is the kind of role-playing game that feels bigger than its download size. You lead a small party through a fractured kingdom, fighting turn-based battles where positioning matters as much as raw damage. The story is told mostly through short character conversations, and while it will not win awards, it gives you a reason to keep pushing east.
The best part is the skill tree. Instead of one long line of upgrades, each character branches into roles you can respec cheaply, so experimenting never feels punishing. I ended up turning my healer into a hybrid caster halfway through and the game just rolled with it. All progress saves locally, so you can play the entire campaign in airplane mode.
