Ironline Command
★★★★☆ 4.3
Ironline Command drops you onto a hex map with a handful of units and asks you to hold ground against waves that keep getting smarter. It is turn-based, so there is time to think, but the maps are small enough that one bad move ripples across the whole board.
I appreciated how readable it is on a phone. Icons are large, the fog of war is clear, and undo exists for accidental taps rather than takebacks. There is a genuine puzzle to each mission, and the campaign never leaned on internet features. Great for short sessions where you want to actually use your brain.
What we liked
- Readable maps on small screens
- Every mission is a fresh puzzle
- Quick turns suit short breaks
