Adventure
Hollow Tide
★★★★☆ 4.4
Hollow Tide is a slower, atmospheric adventure where you explore a half-drowned town one screen at a time, tapping to examine objects and piecing together why everyone left. The puzzles are logical rather than obtuse, mostly about finding the right item and reading the environment carefully.
What carries it is the mood. Rain, distant foghorns, and hand-drawn backgrounds make the whole thing feel like a graphic novel you poke at. It runs offline start to finish and saves at every screen, so it is easy to play in small bites. If you like exploration over action, this one lingers.
What we liked
- Strong hand-drawn atmosphere
- Fair, logical puzzles
- Saves at every screen
